Mallory came onto the U.S. popularity charts with a BANG in 1983. The name went from complete obscurity straight into the American consciousness almost overnight, landing on the charts at a respectable position of #333 in its first year. What happened? September 1982 marked the debut of a highly rated sitcom of the 1980s called “Family Ties”. Mallory was the pretty and loveably bubble-headed teenage sister to the conservative Alex (played by a young Michael J. Fox).
